Range Creek has been referred to as the "Utah's Secret Canyon." It has been the subject of documentaries on Scientific American, KUED Television and Time Magazine America. Stories have appeared in numerous magazines like National Geographic and Smithsonian.

Tucked away in an isolated canyon in Eastern Utah, Range Creek Canyon was virtually unknown to the world for 100 years. In 2003 the owners sold the property to the state of Utah. The canyon is now managed by the University of Utah Museum of Natural History. The San Rafael Swell is filled with mysteries to explore, some that date back thousands of years.
